Ly Hoang embodies the spirit of HoopItForward. Starting as a camper, she has grown into her role as Media Manager, a testament to the organization's mission of paying it forward. A Gen Z trailblazer from Hue City, Vietnam, Ly brings a unique blend of artistic talent and athletic passion to the table. She holds degrees in International Relations from the University of Economics and Finance in Ho Chi Minh City and in Graphic Design from Arena Multimedia. Though standing just 5 feet tall, her love for basketball knows no bounds.

Ly's basketball journey began at age 13 in 2016, and she quickly rose to prominence. By 2017, she was among the top 16 in the Jr. NBA Female category and went on to win numerous championships in Hue City, earning four MVP awards and two shooting contest titles. Her on-court success transitioned into coaching at the Nyx Basketball Club for three years until a leg injury in 2019 ended her playing career.

In 2017, Ly joined the Hoop It Forward camp as a participant, igniting her long-standing connection with the organization. Over the past eight years, she has become a cornerstone of HIF, working closely with the Mrs. Ha family. As a designer, she has elevated HIF's branding and marketing materials, creating visually impactful campaigns for each camp. She has also shared her basketball expertise as an Jr. Assistant Coach, inspiring young players with her dedication and passion.

Today, HIF is more than an organization for Ly—it is her second family. She remains committed to its mission of making basketball accessible to children while fostering a close-knit community. Looking ahead, Ly envisions HIF as a united network of passionate individuals working together to amplify its growth and impact. Her journey from camper to leader is a testament to the transformative power of Hoop It Forward.
